Rock Creek Cattle Company is a working Montana cattle ranch, traversed by streams and framed by mountains. It’s the Western Lifestyle lived to its fullest, with diverse homestead offerings ranging from one acre to 110 acres and completed cabins built along Rock Creek.

In addition, Rock Creek Cattle Company boasts one of Tom Doak’s finest golf courses to date as its centerpiece, the Rock Creek Cattlemen’s Club as well as our full-service fitness center, – both located on the creek’s banks. Rock Creek Cattle Company’s impressive landscape is situated on the northeast side of the Flint Creek Mountain Range, just outside of Deer Lodge, Montana.

The Tom Doak designed golf course opened in 2008. Doak’s golf course is worthy of the beauty and grandeur of this exceptional piece of property. Choosing to work on no more than two courses per year allows Tom Doak to build handcrafted designs with meticulous attention to detail. The layout of the 18 holes encompasses three different sections of ranch land, with the course design lending itself to the beauty of the natural terrain.

The Club not only has exceptional golf but members can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreation which can be arranged with the guides and outfitters. Activities include, guided fishing trips, hunting, horseback riding, ATV trail riding, paddle sports, biking, and hiking. The Club also features the finest and most up to date amenities. The Cattlemen’s Club is a 7,000 square foot gathering place for Rock Creek Cattle Company owners. The Club’s patio sits right on the banks of Rock Creek and provides the ideal spot for repose after a day of fishing, golf or riding on the range. Within the Cattlemen’s Club you’ll find the great room, the lounge, sales office, private dining and the main dining room that spills on the the creekside patio offering an eclectic menu ranging from hearty to gourmet. The Creek Club offers the finest full service fitness center as well as private massage rooms and spa. Tennis courts have been constructed with state of the art surfacing. Adjacent to the courts are horseshoe pits and a bocce ball court. The newly constructed swimming “hole” was opened in the Summer of 2011. The facility includes a large pool, a children’s pool, sports lawn, fire pit, game barn, and spa. The pool is adjacent to the Creek Club. The Golf House and Fly Shop sit on the creek bank overlooking the first tee and 18th green. Rock Creek Cattle Company is proud to have built one of the best sporting clays courses in the country with a National Sporting Clays Association Certified Instructor on staff to assist as needed. The Club also offers a large selection of rental shotguns, ammunition, and safety equipment.

Costa Rica is home to the some of the largest Tarpon in the world. Tarpon (Megalops atlanticus) are the “Silver Kings” of our coastal waters and can grow beyond 6 feet in length and weigh as much as 350 lbs.

The Tarpon is known for its spectacular leaps when hooked in an attempt to get away. The world record for Tarpon caught using a hook and line is 281 lbs. When afraid, the tarpon produces sound in the form of thumps using its swim bladder.

 Silver King is located in “Barra del Colorado”, which is approximately 140 miles from San Jose in the extreme Northeastern Caribbean Coast and is the second largest rainforest preserve in Central America.

Our rooms are over 450 square feet with two queen size beds, rod racks, and walk in closets. The rooms boast 12 foot ceilings made of wild cane. The walls are constructed of native tongue and groove hard woods. The bathrooms are fully tiled and each room has its own hot water heater, and coffee maker for those early risers. All of our rooms are fully air- conditioned.
